While browsing through the first edition of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&amp;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FCSS-Cookbook-2nd-Christopher-Schmitt%2Fdp%2F0596527411%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dbooks%26qid%3D1200309075%26sr%3D8-1&amp;tag=permafrost-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325" title="CSS Cookbook">CSS Cookbook</a>, a book published in 2004, I see what the irritant is &#8211; Daniel&#8217;s  post is essentially the same as Recipe 10.6 &#8220;Combining Different Image Formats.&#8221; I&#8217;m reasonably sure that Daniel was not aware of the previous work, and would have credited the person if he had known.</p>
