Morrie the Toupee Salesman

God I loved that song (apparently despite the fact that the song is ancient I still can’t see the video in Canada). Anyway my lawyer is in El Segundo, so my planned trip to Cali is going to start there, head up the coast on a train (I just loved a picture in a tourist book I bought) and end with another song before flying home to more snow.

It’s hard to call it a vacation, because I’ve worked my ass off over the last few months, so I’m not actually taking any vacation days, and, oh, there’s a significant number of “meetings” involved. Saturday on the Coastal Starlight is probably the only part that will resemble a vacation.
