2008 started with me being stopped at the border twice (a big shoutout to Max Levchin and the slimeballs who run slide.com for the second one), but it turned out to be a big travel year for me, starting in June:

YOW-YUL (December, by train actually)

YOW-BOS (December, challenging)
and
YOW-YHZ (tomorrow, to complete the symmetry).
A real shout-out to the 4 customs and border patrol people who did their job well and let me into the US, and all the hard working people in the travel industry. And happy holidays and a great new year to all!
