One of the cool benefits of working at Travelpod/TripAdvisor/Expedia/ItsComplicated is the discounts we get. At the top of the list so far is the hotels.com discount, which can run anywhere from 15-30% off hotels.com’s already-low prices. But we also get a regular assortment of emails from HR about new and cool discounts. The last few days were truly crazy, with a whole flurry of neat discounts (almost like they want their employees to spend! spend! spend! the way out of our current economic woes). Among the recent ones

• 10% off Norwegian Cruise Lines!
• Access to the “Working Advantage” program that gives 34% off Blockbuster Rentals, and more! Much more!
• Employee discounts at Lenovo! (because having two laptops sometimes just isn’t enough for me) I priced out a top of the line laptop and the discount was 16.7%!

Now if I could get a. Canon discounts and b. Apple discounts (the US already has those) I’d be set.
