Recently Nick Carr (whose writing I really like a lot) wrote a fairly indepth piece about Google. Some good insights, and basics about business used to build a pretty good analysis, about what you’d expect from an east coaster associated with the Harvard Business Review.
Chris Anderson (who has something to do with Wired, and has a book or two) , but who to me seems kind of vapid, redeems my faith in him by writing a thoroughly content free piece. It really feels like a gigantic quote surrounded by 12 words. He does manage to use the phrase “erudite curmudgeon” but even that seems like the best of Roget’s. Guess who’s on Techmeme?
I guess you could say the same about this piece (thoroughly content free) but I think I’ve actually said more then Mr. Anderson. Not that that was difficult.
