Its pretty hard not to read this article about Taliban incursions into Pakistan, and not think of the Vietnam war. Spreading destabilization, the other side being pushed to become more and more radical, all fueled by American money. It makes you wonder why the US military even tries to intercede in conflicts around the world. And for those who’ve forgotten the article is pretty emphatic about one thing. American money funded the creation of the Taliban. And its been blowback ever since.
