Morrie the Toupee Salesman

I love Steve Yegge’s stuff. I actually was lucky enough to talk at the same conference as he did, and should have shown up for the speaker’s lunch on the Sunday afternoon when we were done, but my life was kind of crazy right then (I quit digg two weeks before, but was speaking about digg, with some legal agreements). At the time building another startup was top of my mind, and not surprisingly I discovered that you can’t do it alone.

8 months later I find myself right back in the same kind of serendipitous situation that gave birth to digg. Good people, interesting problems, lots and lots of fun. Stay tuned. Oh, Steve Yegge? He doesn’t work for me, but he’s inspired me to hire Eli White from Digg. And after the first week, he definitely fits with the idea of Done and get things smart.
